| Grobari - Belgrade part. II Struggle for the title Tonight (Tuesday, 30th May 2006) begins the play-off of the domestic league, where in the semi-final Partizan faces Buducnost from Podgorica. After all the developments witnessed in the last few weeks, it is fair to expect that this international encounter receives that extra political undertone – especially the game to be played in Podgorica. Still, our focus will primarily be the sport’s side of the game and the battle for the place in the final series. The target, successfully reached in the last 4 years, is as always – the championship trophy. In the last 4 years, Partizan exerted a total domination at home, while in the play-off series only 2 games were lost (one game was lost last year and the other one happened two seasons ago). On the other side, we have 28 wins. However, this year many outside ‘forces’ are working against our attempt to win the title for the fifth year, the ‘state project’ and political pressures, as well as referee organization trying to hamper our Club’s effort. Yet, the majority of experts believe that Partizan is the most complete squad, and hardly any team in our league can anticipate win in the long 5-game series. This was emphasized too by our coach Vujosevic and captain Milojevic before the commencement of the play-off. First game is tonight in Pionir. The entrance is free for the ones having Club’s symbols. The next 2 games are in Podgorica, 1st and 4th June, which we expect to be the last ones, if the previous games are taken into consideration. This will provide few days of rest, much needed for the final series. Forza Partizan!!! Edited by unico grande amore! - 30/5/2006, 17:28
